Albert, Mish, and I went out on a lunch date just to catch up. We went to Posh Bagel and just talked for a bit. I miss talking to this weirdo.

After, a whole group of us went to Paesano’s to celebrate Dina’s birthday with a birthday dinner! I got this salmon salad which was supergood.

For Em’s birthday, we went to Manna and had Korean BBQ! We ordered so much and were stuffed when we left. Then Mish and Soph hurried over to TJ and got a cake for Ems and we sang her happy birthday. I got her a Katy Perry complete edition CD, but I forgot to take off the price, so.. sigh. 

5.10.12: It-feels-like-a-Friday kind of Wednesday

So on Thursday after classes, Mish and I went downtown to find Ems’ birthday present. I’m not going to say what it is just in case because I am paranoid, but I’m pretty sure she’ll like it. :)

But before we got to the store, we stumbled upon the farmer’s market! Of course, I can’t turn down a walk around the farmer’s market, so we stopped and looked at what they had. Being me, I walked to me person who always sells the best pink lady apples in the world and started looking for some. I think I go there too often, because the guy who works there recognizes me! I dunno, I felt special because this is kind of the first time I’ve been unofficially dubbed as a “regular.” Then we finally went to the store and I bought Ems her present. After that, Mish and I thought it suitable to treat ourselves because we had a shitty week. I had a midterm and a major essay earlier this week. We went to Chipotle and talked about things until we decided to head back.

..Marcuss and Wesley wanted to go to Panda Express at 8pm, though, so Mish and I tagged along because we had nothing else to do. We biked there in the dim lighting of the street lights and safely arrived at Panda Express! Hella scary, though, because I left my bike light at home and I was afraid someone was going to kill me or something. After Marcuss and Wesley grabbed their food (and left me QQ), we biked back to Quickly’s because Mish was craving popcorn chicken and I wanted a drink. We sat down and talked about random things and went back home. 

Overall, it was a wonderful way to relax. :)

Adventure weekend!

Saturday: A group of us went to Target at 2pm. I was hella dumb and forgot my wallet.. smh. But that’s okay because Mish saved me! We took the bus there and I got a few things like this cute pink OPI nail polish that I was looking at a few weeks ago and some gummies because I have a weak spot for them hehe. Then we went back home and hung out for a few hours until we went to grab some In-N-Out before we went to watch The Avengers! We went in a group of ten and Soap went with us, which was nice because I usually don’t see her very often. :)

It was hella funny because she left her bike at the MU, so I had to use my friend’s bike and take her there because my friend couldn’t bike with someone else sitting with her. After our In-N-Out trip, we went to line up outside the theater. The people who didn’t want to go to In-N-Out started coming and we had a huge group of around 20 people. It’s a good thing big brother Marcuss told us all to buy it online.. The movie was awesome! I’m glad I went. :)

Sunday: I woke up at 1:50 to the feel of my phone vibrating. I forgot to set my alarm clock to 1pm because I was supposed to eat lunch at 2. Oops. So I quickly got ready and flew out the door to meet up with Mish, Wesley, and Marcuss and was met with a surprise; Ems walked all the way from South Davis to eat with us! Ems has been busy these days, so any time with her is precious (sorry for the cheesiness). We ate at this place called Thai Nankorn or something and the food was really good, but the Thai Iced Tea was pretty disgusting. After that, we went home and I started on my essay that I eventually pulled an all-nighter on Tuesday for.

I went home for the weekend! :)

It was super fun because I was getting a little homesick. Mish (bestie) went with me and I got to show her some of the 408. 

Friday: Right after we dropped our stuff off, my father and my sister took us to this Singaporean restaurant called Merlion. The food wasn’t that bad, though the lack of people in the beginning did scare me a bit. Before we went back home, we stopped by Verde and got some yummy pudding pearl milk tea. I swear Verde makes like the best in the area. :)

Saturday: I needed a bang cut, so Mish and I drove to Los Gatos to my hair salon. Then we went to my favorite bakery, Icing on the Cake, and ordered some cookies and loafs. I ordered the pumpkin loaf and it was delicious! We took a leisure stroll around the area until we realized how late it was and panicked about the picnic. In the end, we got pizza. Yum, pizza and korean BBQ. Classy. 

We quickly drove home, took Suki, and went with Alex to One Tree Hill where we had our picnic. Then Mish and I went back home and picked Yui up so we could go shopping in Valley Fair/Santana Row! I got my shopping fix and bought stuff like eyeliner and a cute dress. To end the day off, we went back home and went with my father to Tomi Sushi for dinner. Yummm, I had no idea how much I missed Japanese food. 

Sunday: We actually didn’t do much on Sunday, but we had dimsum (which we waited an hour for) and went shopping in Oakridge. Then it was time to say byebye to San Jo and head back to Davis.
